    The tube bundle for the two air/water heat exchangers consists of high-quality stainless steel pipes with roller-expanded aluminium star profile for optimum heat transfer.

    With a Kaeser heat recovery system, up to 96% of compressor exhaust heat can be recycled – for example, to heat water up to +90°C.
  • Exceptionally maintenance-friendly:
    The air/water heat exchangers for the 1st and 2nd compressor stages are housed in two separate enclosures, each with optimal accessibility thanks to large maintenance doors.

Compact footprint and ideal cooling

Snowflake profile in all air-conducting pipes for optimal cooling.

For perfect cooling, all air-conducting pipes are equipped with the innovative snowflake profile, which offers a number of advantages: The profile has a 46% higher heat transfer area, allowing for a 10% reduction in heat exchanger length and a 19% reduction in compressor footprint.

Optimal cooling water flow

Water-cooled CSG compressors are equipped with water regulating valves, which optimise the cooling water flow for all consumers downstream from each heat exchanger. This ensures cost-efficient and sustainable cooling water use. Furthermore, KAESER uses regulating valves that are airtight when closed at the water outlet. If the compressor does not require cooling, for example in standby operation, the water flow is stopped, resulting in more efficient usage of the cooling water.

Reduced pressure loss

Reduced pressure loss thanks to optimised air inlet and outlet.

The flow-optimised air inlet and outlet ensures significantly reduced pressure loss. In addition, the cooler air flow path is made of hygienic stainless steel.

SIGMA CONTROL 2 compressor controller

The integrated SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller coordinates compressed air generation and ensures efficient, reliable machine operation. Moreover, it guarantees perfect interaction within the integrated system as a whole. All relevant components and operating states are monitored and evaluated. A multitude of communications functions are available to the operator, including the option of connecting the machine to other control technology (SCADA).

Fibre-free pulsation dampers

Kaeser's new fibre-free pulse dampers keep pressure losses to an absolute minimum, help maintain consistent air quality and, unlike fibre versions, do not present a source of contamination for the compressed air.

Highly efficient condensate separator

High-efficiency condensate separator

Thanks to its flow-optimised design, the newly developed condensate separator reliably separates the condensate downstream from the air coolers, with minimal pressure loss.

Maximum savings with energy recovery

Efficient and convenient use of recyclable compressor heat

With an integrated heat recovery module, recyclable compressor heat can be used for hot air space or process heating, as well as for heating of service or process water to temperatures up to 90 °C. This makes it possible to achieve an amortisation period of less than a year.

Hot water from heat recovery up to +90°C

Recovered heat energy can be used in any number of ways. Heat recovery provides warm water up to 90 °C as appropriate for specific applications.

Maximum heat recovery with rotary screw compressors.

Amazingly, 100 percent of the electrical energy input to a compressor is converted into heat. Of this, up to 96 percent is available for heat recovery purposes.

Maximum availability despite heat recovery

Maximum availability with optional internal water circulation loop.

During maintenance work on the water system of the heat recovery system other than the compressor, an optionally available complete internal water circuit (with pump, expansion valve, safety valve, etc.) ensures reliable compressor performance.

Reliable heat recovery for your application

For self-protection purposes, compressors with integrated heat recovery are equipped with a secondary water system. This separation into a primary and secondary water system not only ensures reliable compressed air supply availability with optimum heat recovery performance, but also provides the flexibility of coupling or decoupling the oil and jacket cooling to / from the heat recovery system according to required heating demand.
